Lets wire up a wideband.

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Lets wire up a wideband.

Post by RobTheModd »

Hey gang, so ive been noticing I run rich alot and such is the case I pop alot of fire out the exhaust.
Decided to get a wideband to monitor my air/fuel ratio.
Everything is pluged in and ready to be wired up now. And thats where I need some help.

The manufacturer suggests wiring the power to the ignition wire.
Where would be a good place to wire up the wide band to, obviously with an inline fuse as they recommend a 5amp inline.

The car in question is a 1998 s70 T5
and I currently have the main box (where everything wires and plugs into) in the glove box, since I used the passenger side pass through for the sensor harness.

This is a PLX DM6 btw if anyone needs the info.
