Nice read, thanks!

It would be even nicer if the hyperlinks for the images in the aticle were working... :?
Has anyone been able to access the images (FIGURE1, 2,...,5) ?
Those failed disc pictures are worth about 999 words each.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
Disclaimer: We (very) seldom do that

Regent, you even replied to the post.

From my experience 9/10 I believe vibration is caused by uneven pad material transfer onto the rotor. In some cases it could be a warped rotor if the rotor is to thin or a very cheap after market rotor was used. Majority of the time though, vibration is do to uneven pad material transfer. Shops just call it a warped rotor because it is what people know and is easy to explain.

Well said - I absolutely agree. Extended technical explanations (999 words or more) may not always make everyone happy...

I asked the Stoptech Webmaster to fix the links in their article (http://www.stoptech.com/technical-suppo ... ther-myths)
Hope we could see the pictures soon.

Thanks
