Where is every one getting new axles

Have you checked with local NAPA auto parts?

In the GKN-Lorbro Parts Catalogue above, Volvo is on pages 642-646.

Wasn't World Pac from Car Quest mentioned on here a while back by Matt as something he put on his. Do they not have a lifetime warranty? I bought a set but couldn't remove my pass side, so installed the drivers only.

Never had an issue with EMPI...

The cheap ones at advance auto parts with a coupon code work great.

Auto, manual, turbo, N/A have ALWAYS been the same for me. I have switched them all around

Local O'Reilly auto parts have been able to get them for me in <4hrs for both our V70 and S80.

I just bought a cheap one from Advance. Chinese but as long as it gets we through this winter I'm OK with it. I'm replacing the right axle this spring as the ice this year cut the boot like someone used a jagged coke can. They were fine when I bought it a few weeks ago. Anyone know of a way to temporarily seal the boot to keep foreign matter out and the grease in?

I once wrapped an axle boot with a garbage bag and duct tape. Needed it to last like three weeks it worked fine. Be careful you don't want the plastic or tape to get caught up in the rotating wheel.

Ordered a Cardone axle from Napa- hope it lasts. Will pull the Raxles axle out and send it to Raxles for a rebuild.

I had the RH side axle on my '02 S60 replaced with one from NAPA about 15K Miles ago - still a happy camper

I have a place in Chicago that rebuilt my original R.S. axle in July 2010 for $45. It was for my 98 S70 it had 149,980 miles at the time,I now have 181,678 miles and no problems. I am very happy with the price and longevity.
