I just did the interior headliner, but not the sunroof. You dont have to drop the interior headliner to do the sunroof? or pull off that annoying ring that hold the headliner around the sunroof hole?

I've been losing coolant, and the usual suspect places were dry. No dripping parked or at idle, either. Until today. Drips from the rear center of the engine. Best guess is it was from one of the turbo cooling hoses. I could just barely reach a clamp screw for one of them with a long socket extension, and I snugged it up so let's hope that's the right one. I have replaced all the easy-to-get-to coolant hoses. I probably should suck it up and replace the turbo hoses and heater hoses before they strand me. (I'm at 200K and I know they're all original.)

Yesterday now, I had a chance to use a friends heated garage. I had bought front calipers and stainless brake lines to compliment the new rotors and ceramic pads that I had installed last month.

It was a pleasure to work inside. The vehicle is appreciative.

Is that a new lens, or did you do something to it?

My coolant leak was fixed by replacing the turbo inlet hose---a pain, but not too bad if you take the inlet pipe off the turbo and deal with taking the hose off the pipe when both are out of the car.

Today I put in a new front O2 sensor ($65 for Bosch OEM on amazon.com!), and tried to fix the dash dimmer rheostat. I thought it was the slider potentiometer, so I took that apart, cleaned it and re-sprung the wiper spring, but that didn't seem to help---it would still not want to go partial-brightness. For now I've jumped it to full brightness and have ordered a replacement on ebay.

By the way, with a new O2 sensor in, will the CEL go off automatically if the problem is fixed, or do I reset the CEL and wait to see if it comes back on?

Changed lower right front motor mount.
The old mount was shredded. So much so that when I loosened the two crank bolts, it just fell off. Heaps of sludge made for a pretty gritty job, but the lower braket came off without too much trouble. Installation was pretty straightforward (Thanks to this tutorial!) but when I got the bracket on, I noticed the engine had rotated back towards the firewall quite a bit. Managed to coax it back into place and tightened it right up.

Car is baby butt smooth at idle now. NOW MORE SHAKES!!

Replacing rear O2 sensor this afternoon.

Today I did an oil change followed by installing a Fumoto quick release oil valve, installed rubber isolation tubing on my front coil springs after I installed a 2" lift kit. Installed XC90 axle bolts with the rubber spacer to fix front axle ping, aimed my headlights. Did an alignment, and thoroughly inspected every rubber mount and ball joint as well as axles and fluid levels in the bevel gear and rear differential. I also removed my power steering reservoir and cleaned it out and then did a full power steering flush. 165,000KM young and at stage zero and driving like a beauty!!! Hard to say whether I'll keep it for long or give in to my temptation of an XC60 which I drove and loved last week

Replaced the control arms, sway bar links and outer tie rod ends (with a kit from FCP). No more pulling to the left when braking, and a much tighter/newer feel. The left control arm ball joint was very loose, the right one a little loose, and the other ball joints not so bad but not as tight as the new ones. Next up: the climate control blower fan is chirping at me again, and I really need to find a final solution to the hatch trim coming loose.
