SC-816 issue

Hi guys

Changed out a lightbulb in my SC-816 and now after entering the code it just sits there with the code entered.

What do???

Also, is the code stored on the faceplate board or the internal logic board? (Found a used unit on ebay for $30 but the casette player is dead.)

When you entered the code what did the radio display?
CODE or OFF

I know a guy that had to wait 2 hours for the radio to go from code to on. He had the key in the first position, I have only entered the code in my radio once with the key in the second position, and it took less than a minute for it to work.
