Hi
I have a Volvo S40 = (1999)
The electric windows left/right have just stopped working and also the wing (Outside ) mirrors- left/right.
I have replaced the centre inside electric switch that operates the windows and mirrors and I have checked the fuse under the bonnet (hood) that says - electric windows - this is ok and has not blown.
Thee is a fuse box inside, near the accelerator pedal which is a pain to get too ... Do i need to check any of these fuses ?
Please help me....
Thanks
Electric windows/ electric mirrors, stopped

The fuse box under the steering wheel well will have a lid that tells you if there is a corresponding fuse. If there doesn't seems to be a fuse, it could also be a faulty master window switch. The master window switch in my car independently disconnected itself just slightly and produced similar symptoms to what you describe. It might be worth popping the little cover off inside the handle on the driver's side, removing the screw underneath the cover, and inspecting the electronic connection for the switch.
