brake failure please stop ?

Post by Volvo101 »

I have this 2001 Volvo V70 2.4 Turbo two wheel drive. I bought it with a bad brake booster and brake light. TC and ABS lights are on. I put a new brake booster and the lights where all gone, I took it on a test drive and all the lights came back on, It seems like they come and go all the time, brake is good, no check engine light. the speedometer works just fine, I've been reading on here that it could be an ABS module ?

It may or may not be, it depends on which module is fitted. Get a small mirror or use your cell phone to read the part number off of the module. It's going to start with either an 8 or 9 and be seven digits.
