1999 Volvo S70 Flashing Arrow, ABS, non working speedo ?

So I just bought this S70 from an Auction, I test drove it there and it ran just fine, I noticed the ABS and break light was on so I thought It could be an easy fix. drove it off the lot and I notice the Speedo is not working and the ODO reads -------- after doing 20 miles a flashing arrow showed up, the car started to get sluggish at traffic lights but when I take off it drives ok. barley made it home. looked it up online and it said ABS module, bought one off eaby and they said it was tested, It didn't work, lights were on and the odo is still dash! the flashing Arrow is gone now, I think It only happens when the car is warm ?? any advice would be appreciated.

When you buy any type of electronic part on ebay and the seller says it has been tested, check to see just how many different parts they sell. If their list of items for sale looks like a model list from a junkyard, you can be pretty sure that it hasn't been tested.

So, you're in a spot where you try again or you have the car scanned.

Is the unit used?

That's what he said when I asked him how he tested it

"I understand these vehicles are finicky about ABS. However, I have the same vehicle and had several of these modules. I put it in my vehicle temporarily and my ABS light went out. I am unsure what else in the system would cause the ABS light to go on"

It's my fault, Ill get the car scanned tomorrow and see the codes. I'll post the codes on here tomorrow!
