Okay PVC job... why? Are you getting the "Emission System Service Required" error? We've had that since forever and have done all but the pcv valve. I reset that before inspection because we could never get to the bottom of it after many $$ spent.

We did change out the alternator even though it tested fine. A nightmare job and it did no good.

My battery dies every night too. That's why I put the trickle charge on it every night. I don't think I let it get down to 0 but I'm sure it did many times. Just bought another new battery too. I think I'm on number 4 now.

You didn't tell me what state/climate you live in. I think that really plays a big part in my problem.

I'm not sure what the difference is in the clamp on induction ampmeter and the meter I used to test but I'll find out. Maybe it's the same thing?? but that's how I knew which fuses were drawing current. The one I used takes two people to do the parasitic draw test.

The weather is getting a bit warmer here so in a few weeks I'll be able to work on it again. I am not in a position right now to be able to pay anyone. I've thrown much too much money into the Volvo dealers only to come up without answers just like you.
