checking crankcase pressure

Heard you can check crankcase pressure using the T on a s70 GLT.

Does anyone have a writeup or experience using this method. If so how what are the connections for the pressure gauge on the T. And what should the readings be?

What pressure are you looking for? Oil pressure or crankcase vapor pressure?

The only way I know of to read the oil pressure is to install an adapter in the pressure sensor hole. Book spec on oil pressure is 43 PSI according to Haynes.

For Vapor pressure it should, in a prefect world, be zero. I use a balloon on the dipstick tube and see if it tries to inflate.

Is there a way to guess where the system is clogged based on whether the dipstick or oil fill has more back pressure?

The lower port on the oil collection box is the most common blockage.
