check engine light - 1999 S70

I just purchased a 1999 S70 that has been regularly serviced by volvo dealer and the 'check engine light' just came on. Any suggestions?

When the check engine light turns on there's hundreds of possible conditions that could be the cause. Like the Underlord said, either buy a code reader (under $100) or go to AutoZone and have them read the code(s) for you and come back to us.
