left headlight out with good bulds and fuses

i have just bought a 2004 V70 wagon; the drivers side headlight doesnt work, i have replaced bulb and checked fuses;

any suggestions?

I would 1st check with a volt meter at the head light assembly connection to make sure power is available to the head lamp unit. Do any of the turn signal or parking lights work? There are replacement head lamp assemblies available on ebay for around $180
