Long cranking time

Post by tinsoldier »

V40 with 133K having problem with long cranking time (4-6 sec.) when engine is cold. Starts and runs normal when engine is warm. Recently had the dealership replace fuel filter with no help. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply, Plugs have been changed recently, as far as wires and vacuum test...not as yet. I am leaning toward a fuel pressure relief valve. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
