Hello All
Friend just purchased a 2001 V70. has only one key. Couple of questions.
1) Should I purchase a Volvo OEM blank with the chip and go to Volvo dealer. They want $120.00 plus I purchased the Volvo OEM key elsewhere for $30.00. Total $150 or so,,Tax whatnot
2) Quote from local locksmith, says he can only use his blank and can clone my chip on his blank $120.00
Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

if it's the right blank, go to a dealer and have it mated to the car
