How to remove the back seat (seat itself and back rest) from my '95 850 sedan?

The instructions I've found online don't seem to work. For the back rest, they say to fold it down one half at a time, then pull it to the outside and up at the same time. But when I pull to the outside, it doesn't move even a millimeter. Is it just stuck, or is it a different type of seat?

For the seat itself, most threads are about the station wagon, which has a seat that pulls forward. The one in the sedan seems to be different. Anyone know where the attachments are for it?

Thanks,
jinglevo

The bottom seat pulls up, fairly hard I just removed the seat from my 93 850 for brake cable replacement, the front has a spring clip and mine pulled hard, I did not remove the backs so I can't help you with that.

If you mean the rear seatbacks that fold down, it is fairly easy.

First pull out the side bolsters by grabbing them by the top, and jerking firmly away from the top edge. After that retaining clip is loose, the bolsters lift up and out.

Then the left side, smaller seat, can be pulled upward from its outer pivoting point, slid outward from the other seat at the other pivoting point. Once the first side is out, the other pulls up from the outer side the same way, and it has a ring that it slides out from on its inside pivot in the floor.

I believe rspi has a write up with an attached video.

I forgot to mention, it is easier with the seat bottom out first. That lifts up and pulls out.
