I have a 98 v70 that I've owned for a year. The car will start right up when it's cold and run, however when I drive it for about a minute or two it will stall out, usually at a stop sign. When it does this it won't start back up for about 15 minutes. It use to do it every once in a blue moon, but now will do it every time I drive it. After the 15 minutes of not starting it will run for the rest of the day. Any help would be appreciated.
I was thinking fuel pump but wanted a 2nd opinion before I go swapping parts. Thanks
V70 stalling issue, any ideas

Search forum for fuel pump relay - its a common item to go on older/high mileage Volvos of this genre...Much more likely to be relay than pump. Cheaper, easier to replace too

I would agree with "abscate". I have replaced many. Not as cheap as you would expect a relay to be. Go with original equipment Volvo part only. It should be located in the engine compartment fuse/relay center near the base of the windshield on the driver's side. Usually red or green in color.
