Hey everybody,
I'm new to this site, but have found a huge deal of very helpful information thus far, and if i could be infatuated with a website, it would be this one.
Here is my conundrum:
Last week, I bought a 1998 V70 (non-turbo, pictured below) and it has been an absolute dream.
Other than a broken (now replaced) passenger side back seat reading lamp, and missing a front fog lamp grill, everything is in tip top shape. A math professor was the previous owner, and he kept it well service and indexed every record.
I noticed yesterday, however, that although there is a switch for foglamps, which when set to on displays an indicator light, there aren't any actual foglamps.
At one point in 2006 it was backed into in a parking lot, and had to have the front end totally redone (although nothing in the engine compartment was damaged thank goodness) and I am wondering if when they were putting on a new front bumper, if they forgot to re-install the foglamps.
My question, is thus:
If the wiring is still there, how difficult/expensive would it be for me to install new foglamps?
I go to college in the Western North Carolina mountains, and working foglamps would be awesome.
Thanks everybody,
-Josh

If this switch lights up a light in the dash assembly it is probably the rear fog lamp in the tail lamps that only lights up one bulb additional on the left side. But as for the front ones, assuming that the wiring is there, any new set of fog lamps with the bracket should fit without much problem.

I'm reasonably sure I'm not just looking at the rear lamp switch, because I spoke with the owner and he said that he vaguely remembered fog lamps that he never really used in the front.
If I were to get the brackets and lamps, would it just take mounting and wiring them before this switch would operate them again?
Thanks for the quick replies!
Edit:
I'm assuming this is what I would need?
