Hi,

This https://www.amazon.com/2001-2004-Touchsc ... roduct_top oem fit multimedia system has recently popped up on amazon, I kinda like the oem look of the unit, now finally there is 1 customer review that's not exactly positive but also doesn't reveal a whole lot of information, has anyone here seen the unit in reality or even purchased it, does anyone know Chilin as a brand? I've never heard of them.

Thx, Ben

I wouldn't touch that with your $500. Quick review on Amazon: the review you mentioned (poor), it's been on Amazon since Dec. 2012 (long time, only one review?), and a Google search for that brand and model (ok, no model # found, but I used "Volvo 2001-2004") turns up mountains of spam reviews on spam Web sites.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

That's exactly how I feel, even popular "name brands" from Asia are getting poor ratings on their dual DIN touchscreen systems for sloppy programmed software & plain dumb UIs, before I spend $500 I wana know it actually works & I'm not gona be p'd off everytime I try to use it...

If I can't find a worthy navi head unit, I'll either see how I can wire BT into the factory system or simply slap a Blaupunkt Toronto in & that's it.
