99 v70 Throttle issue

Just replaced throttle control body bought from xemodex on my 99 v70 car still runs very rough and is in limp home mode.. any advice will be extremely helpful

Did you turn the ignition to on for five minutes prior to starting the car, if you didn't do this try it and see how it behaves - Mike

No luck. It keeps revving by itself..

took battery cables off held them together to try to clear etm code replaced cables turned on ing waited five min car rev to 2000 slowly dropped but still idles rough goes up and down over and over

are you sure you got the hose on 100%? any vacuum leaks? how did you determine you needed new TCM?

had the recall done and software upgrade in 07 car went to limp home mode. talked to there tech told to remove #2 fuse in box under hood replaced fuse listened for tcm to go through its re start faint high pitched noise came from it but lasted more than the normal 10 15 seconds

A TCM is known as a transmission control module. The Magnetti Marelli unit is known as a ETM.
