Sure, off the line for about 60ft it punches like a beast but after that its out of puff and this really shows on the freeway.
Looking for input on what would be the most cost effective approach to get near the '98 V70 T5 on power/weight while still having a tractable motor. I guess a chip would be a good place to start?
Looks like I'll need around 315HP at the peak to bring this rolling bank safe in ballpark on power to weight and at that would be a little ahead on power to drag.
Can the motor and transmission handle this relatively safely?
I know the 2.5 in the 850 and V70 wasn't really much of a motor for tuning, is that still the case for the model in the '04 XC90?
(and yeah maybe could have gotten the V8, but no way in hell I was going to roll the dice on an '05 V8
