S80 T6 Hard Starting
S80 T6 Hard Starting
I have an 04' S80 T6 that has had starting problems for over 8 months. Just got the car back from a Volvo dealer who replaced the fuel pump and pcv hose under warranty/recall. Their diagnostic equipment said the car needed a cam timing sensor-they wanted almost $500 to replace it. I replaced it with an Airtex brand cam timing sensor. The car is worse than ever, especially when hot. Up to this point over the last 8 months I have had the throttle body replaced-car ran ok until November when the weather turned cold and the car would not start at any temp below 20 fegrees F. The crank sensor, coolant temp sensor, fuel pressure regulator, mass air meter, MAP sensor, along with spark plugs have all been recently replaced. The only other thing wrong with the car is that about a year ago while on a road trip the RF strut bearing fell apart. A local independent sop replaced the strut bearing, however they cut the wires to the strut (4C suspension) along with the ABS wires to the RF. Any chance these wires being cut could cause a starting problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
