SC 816 to Iphone 5 adapter

Im trying to understand interfacing the Iphone 5 with my stereo (SC 816)

Ive found the Blitzsafe solution (120 USD) which is full up Bluetooth connectivity, and see the posts on soldering to the tape deck too.

Is there a solution " in between" - a simple cable connect to the CD changer port (not in use) that would let me port music into my stereo ?

I just saw the Yatour thread solution, btw

Has the car got an amp or is it just the SC816, if there is no amp have a look at the iO-Play_2 Bluetooth kit as that avoids the hassle of wires and works very well (I have one in my V70 Classic) - Mike
