Another issue seal leaking :/

Another issue seal leaking :/

i cant figure out which seal/seals i need...

Its leaking from where the screw driver is sitting. in between the axle shaft and the transfer case spline sleeve.

There is no seal there. if fluid level is high enough, like when engine has been off for a while and torque converter drains back into sump, then fluid is high enough to come out there.
The cup you put back in place may stop fluid from the bore inside splines but the axle gear the axle inserts into inside diff unit but the axle gear is not sealed to the diff case inside diff.

So is it normal for fluid to come out of there after refilling it? What keeps the fluid from coming out there?

The seal on the end of the angle gear where axle inserts.

number 46 goes there...There is a seal there. :roll: :roll: it would make no sense to seal everything up besides that. :roll: :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol: i knew something had to go there.
