yes, the wobble is the main indicator of a bad wheel hub assembly, they should be tight, no wobble.

Are you having trouble tightening the wheel? Are they cross-threaded? This seems unnecessary.

I have the final fix. It was the end link bolts not torqued down fully. Retorqued the bolts and the sound is gone. It's the dumb things some times.

It's a very common problem on these cars, you aren't the first to run into it and you won't be the last ... thanks for posting up the solution.

Interesting. I posted similar symptoms in the suspension thread. I'll check on my endlinks too. I replaced them both BEFORE all the major strut replacement was done and never have my symptoms. Only after I removed and replaced all the other parts did a test drive reveal the sound. Thanks all.

UPDATE: drivers side endlink was the noise culprit. The bottom nut was loose so I re-torqued it and all is silent.
