Hi, I just bought a 2003 volvo v70 t5 manual with 188k miles on it. There seems to be a few little issues with it, just minor basic car stuff ( at least that I am able to recognize). I don't know much about this model - I did have a 2004 V 70 but just the automatic regular model. Are they supposed to last a long time? What typically goes wrong with this particular model? And what should I start looking out for to make sure its up to date/not going to blow the engine or ruin something, etc?
Thanks for any insight!

Look under your hood for a timing belt (TB) replacement sticker. The factory recommends replacing every 100k miles, so you need to know where you are in the cycle of TB life.
The rest of the stuff you can wait for it to break and then come here.

Great, thank you! The timing belt was just changed (a little early)... For the second time in this car.
Their is a knocking coming from front right (sounds like suspension)... Any idea?
Also, a 'message' in the car says airbag problem of some sort? He said he had it checked and it was the sensor. Should I believe him? (he was trying to sell me his car at the time)
