1995 850 transmission swap with 1998 S70

What do I have to specifically modify to swap a 1998 S70 auto tranny into a 1995 850? They are both autos and N/A.

Are you sure the C70 is N/A?

Good to know it is a S70 and not a C70, I got to revise the response.

The s70 should have a 4 speed it will pretty much bolt up and be fine. The '95 had a Vehicle Speed Sensor on the transmission and that was removed on the '98 and vehicle speed was derived from the ABS module and the wheel sensors. I'm not sure if the mounting hole for the VSS remained on the later versions of the transmission or not. My guess is that it did and you can swap the '95 VSS from the old transmission to the replacement transmission. Jimmy57 will know for sure.

I needed the engine and the guy through in the tranny for 400 bucks, extra. I could not pass up a tranny with 67k on it.
