I need to Replace my Condenser on My XC90 2006 2.5. Is there any video or pitchers showing how to remove.

I have no pictures or video. I do want you to be sure to know which condenser style and to make sure the seller sells you the correct one. Most 06's have the receiver-drier integral with the condenser but there are some 06's with the separate receiver-drier. IF yours has the integrated r-d then you will see a vertical 1+ inch cylinder next the the vertical end tank of the condenser on RH side. Some catalogging does not show this difference and lists the same one for XC90 2003 to as late as 2007.
Thanks Mine has the receiver-drier integral. Order new condenser from Volvo wholesale in Texas, Great guys every thing comes with the new Condenser. Now how hard is it to take out and replace.jimmy57 wrote:I have no pictures or video. I do want you to be sure to know which condenser style and to make sure the seller sells you the correct one. Front way up on jack stands or on a lift, the cond goes out the bottom and you need height for it to clear.
Drop pan under rad/cond/IC.
Use the new part as a guide to locate the bolts you are after.
You should be able to leave rad in place but the IC as I recall will have to be hung with baling wire while you drop condenser and put the new one up in place.
I'm assuming the undo lines first and re-connect last is understood and the evacuate and recharge is handled also.

Thanks I will be taking pitchers or the removing and installing of the condenser and will want to post them so others can see. Will let you know how it comes out in about a week. Thanks for your help Dave.jimmy57 wrote:intercooler, the turbo output air goes through to be cooled. It is a radiator only air is inside instead of coolant.
