I think this could be the ultimate ETM test vehicle. 2008 Lamborghini Reventon. ETM x 4 (Gold Sticker). Cost - $2,263.19 each.

is there any price break for a known failed unit in need of a rebuilt? my etm made me limp home the other day. i am at a cross road since my car is out of warranty and i can get a courtesy price of $354 from Volvo. The $600 price tag vs volvo installing another etm. my car is scheduled to go in on thurs 1/22/09

I had my etm done by modual master. It took about 3 weeks turn around and was well worth it car idles great now!

I did the Xemodex mod a few months ago on my 2000 S80.
Best idea ever.
Fast turnaround, high quality/performance, true plug-and-play without a hitch.
Vendor provided all shipping documentation (customs to/from Canada).
Took about an hour to swap out.
I'll do it again in a heartbeat.

Has anyone tried the DIY ETM rebuild kit from xemodex yet(http://xemodex.com/technologyimproved/d ... -for-volvo)? I want to see if it's worth the shot to go the cheaper route or to just cough up the extra cash for a full rebuild.
