Best radio for 2000 V70? Where to buy?

Hi all,

I am new to the Volvo world (had a 1991 240 sedan as my first car, but couldn't take it to college in upstate NY with its RWD). Now I will be getting a 2000 V70 XC. I don't listen to music much, but do listen to podcasts on my iPhone. I want to find a radio that will allow me to connect (and charge?) my iPhone and that has Bluetooth. Can anyone recommend a receiver and also point me in the direction to find it the cheapest? Thanks!

Have you considered fitting a Bluetooth kit to the car to allow music streaming/ handsfree? For charging the phone I would look at the powered (Active) holders and clips made by Pro-Clip/ Brodit, it is fairly easy to add the handsfree kit to work with the built in stereo even if the Volvo you get has an external (to the headunit) amplifier - Mike

I have a used USA SPEC PA HON11, (look it up) that will work in your car (for sale) but it's for iPod, Satellite, iPhone but not B/T
I suggest buy an aftermarket radio that has what you want already included in the radio.
You can buy a killer radio for $150 with everything plus sound quality that will blow away the stock radio
