COMPATIBILITY HU 603 AND HU 613

Hey Guys,

I have a quick question. I have a Volvo s60 2002 with a HU 603 radio player that is not working. I need to have it replaced. I have 2 questions:

1. Can I upgrade to another model say HU 613?

2. If I replace to the same model HU 603 OR upgrade to HU 613, Is there some programming/activation required before the replacement unit can work or is it just plug n play.

Make sure you have the security code number for the new unit also
