I will preface this with some back ground.
Car started drove it 1/2 mile went to pool for coupe of hours came out would crank, almost fire but wouldnt start.
ran the battery down charged it up went out the next day and car barely cranks so pulled battery out too it to shop checks good.
put it back in charged it back up, still cranks really slow
check all code ports nothing all are showing 1-1-1
i have spark and fuel checked both
still rolls over really slow like something is bogged down or the battery is back i checked voltage on battery myself and its solid at 12.8 volts.
Any help or thoughts would be great.

Could it be starter related like its going bad and not cranking the motor over fast enough. Cause it souds like a bad battery but as i have said i checked it and i had it load checked at the APS (autoparts store)

one more thing of note that when i crank the motor over all accessories (alternator, power steering and idler pulley) are turning as motor cranks what i did notice is that the belt is just sliding around the ac compresor pulley could that be causing my slow cranking and keeping it from starting????
I am at a loss here need some guidence help.

If the compressor bearing is locked up then it will definitely drag the starter down. Even if it does start, the locked up pulley can burn the serpentine belt in half.douglasjreno wrote:one more thing of note that when i crank the motor over all accessories (alternator, power steering and idler pulley) are turning as motor cranks what i did notice is that the belt is just sliding around the ac compresor pulley could that be causing my slow cranking and keeping it from starting????

Take the serpentine belt off and see if the cranking speed returns to normal and if the car will start. If it does start you need to pick up an AC bypass belt. The short bypass belt is a Gates K060495 or its equivalent.

found a 314 code on a6 position found the electrical connector corroded and cleaned and used some contact grease on it and all is good. Now all i have to do is fix the ac compressor.
