Hi guys - The good news is that my cars has got a lot of great upgrades. The bad news is insurance is looking to total it because of some purely cosmetic damage from a tree limb falling on it. It's completely drivable and very quick. Since I was looking to sell it in a few months (moving back into the city.
Here's a partial list of what I've put on it - most within the last 20k miles, but none more than 60k miles ago. I'm SURE there's parts I'm forgetting
Head ported/polish and mildly worked over from RSI
MSD Ignition
Silicone Turbo hoses, Silicone vacuum lines, Silicone Idle Air hose
ARD ECU - Green Tune
HD Poly firewall and upper torque arm mount
Hutchinson Trans mount
Big Brake rotors on the front with the proper Volvo caliper arms
The "better" Behr radiator and a newer coolant expansion tank & capital
S60R Exhaust manifold
Koni FSD shocks with Eibach Lowering springs (have original R springs, nivomats and shocks - they were probably NOT bad and the source of noise was almost definitely the Control Arms)
Control Arms, Sway Bar End Links, Tie Rod Ends (Meyle HD kit - 850CAKIT-MY)
4 new Continental ExtremeContact Tires on Factory Volans
Volan rims - one has been professionally refurbed (small crack on rim), but they did a terrible job matching the color... suggest refinishing all four together if you love Volans
Wiper Relay for adjustable/programmable intermittent speeds
E-Code headlight lenses with the X-PEL protection films that IPD sells
There's more than that, I'm sure, but I'm tired of trying to remember everything...
I also have a bunch of spare stuff... four inner door panels, a headliner, rear seats (lowers, also from a '96 850R), spare Meyle HD sway bar links... everything I have for this car in the garage will go WITH the car...
If I had an 850 Turbo, or another R without upgrades, I'd want to buy this car for all the recent upgraded parts.
So, this is a real OBO situation here... I'd guess that there's at least $2500 in upgrades here, and a ton more value in stock parts parts. The paint's faded, but everything else is in very good condition - the tail-lights are very clean and show no signs of sun-damage; the seats are not torn and the driver's bolster show considerably low wear; for example...
It's in Lansing,IL, just south of Chicago. Please chime in with your thoughts on a fair value and/or your offers.

It'd be really nice for potential buyers like me to have some pictures to look at.
My 97 R was totaled but it was REALLY totaled. Parted it out. Body was mostly junk after the hit. If yours is still drivable....well, I live in the Portland, OR area. Would it drive here with no "issues"?
Thanks! Sim

Sorry guys... I'm in the middle of moving right now, so I don't have a ton of spare time. You're absolutely right - pictures would be great. See my previous posts and here for very recent pictures.
What would it take for me to get in the car and drive to Portland? I'd replace the rear brakes (pads/rotors) and do a standard check of fluids before leaving. I've no doubt that it'd get there without a problem, and it'd be fun through the mountains!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I thought a you had sold the car or whatever. I was very interested. Then I went and bought a 97 850 T5. Now I'm making some repairs so I can sell it, hopefully soon. What happened? I don't recall reading about the branch remodeling the outside of the car. A Spring storm?
Just curious for now. When I finish the current project I'll take a fresh look. Have you gotten an estimate for repairing it?
John

Still have it. I may sell it to a friend. The estimate to repair was ~2300, but it's purely cosmetic - no broken glass or anything.
I have pulled out the ARD Green Tune ECU, so that is for sale separately now. I haven't posted it yet, so feel free to make an offer.

Is this still for sale? If so, how much are you trying to get from it? Do you still have the tune
