Do you know what each of the pins on the Rockford amp are for, sorting out what is under the seat on the S60 is quite easy:

Amp remote on/ off is in the six pin DIN plug
Pre-out signals to the amp are all in the six pin DIN plug.
The speaker wires are the pairs of grey twisted wires out of plug B
Power to the amp is on Plug A

Try Here for the diagrams, note the audio diagram is split in two with the head unit on one page and the amp much further in to the pdf - Mike

There is no rhyme or reason to the factory wire colors and polarity. If you look on the schematics the polarity is identified at the factory amplifier / head unit. Just correlate the polarity to the wire color associated with that pin.

There are four sets of twisted pairs from the amp to the speakers, in each case the grey wire with either the white stripe or the one with the red stripe is the + the solid grey wires with no other colour is the speaker neg - Mike

Thanks Mike:)

I'm still waiting for amp delivery (4 channel MTX) & small sub jl audio 10W0. I hope to plugin all on this weekend without problems:)

btw
Can I buy somewhere ''male socket'' to this female plug with speakers? I really don't want cut original instalation in the car.

What You think Guys about this custom subwoofer enclosure for s60 ? It's quite expensive ( around 500$ incl delivery to Uk) or maybe I can buy somewhere here in UK ?

Thanks again

If you get a SOT-043 ISO Adapter cable you will get the connectors you require which you can then hack to the non OEM amp, one post I made a while back covering the installation of the Bluetooth kit to an S60 might be of interest and supply a few tips to getting at the amp see Here - Mike
