I know that the oil or whatever that coats brake parts when you buy them comes off and rust is not far behind. If you like the zinc look, there are clear paints that hold up under braking heat (Duplicolor, :) I swear I don't work for the company! ) Brakleen and a wire brush will get you pretty far before paint.

I was in the office today after being there all week and I couldn't take it anymore. So being that I live in beautiful Colorado and own a pretty spiffy Volvo I did what anybody in my situation would do-I bugged out and went for a drive!
This is the top of Guanella Pass.

While hanging out at the top of the pass I spotted this:
Another S70 T5m!
Another S70 T5m!
Going up to Guanella pass from 285 the road is kind of crappy, but not too bad...But coming down the other side is a hoot! Be careful though as there are a lot of hikers, deer, rocks and other things that will ruin your car/life if you hit them.

One last thing. 285 from Denver is a gorgeous road, but be careful as you ascend. It goes from 65 to 55 to 45 really quick as I found out. Whoops!

HeyBikey, pretty '96! Great wheel look.

ThinAir, noooo! The ticket was 65 in a 40 I take it? Way to get the cop dashboard and the T5M in the same shot . That drive is killer, I agree.

wouterve, your XC is blindingly sharp! Killer sample you have there. Thanks for sharing.

It must be 1997 again, and that's a dealer lot!
