1996 850 Turbo, Red,

Purchased in July 2013 as a parts car for $600 but....it seems like it might be a good daily cruiser!
Initial repairs:
- Repaired vacuum leak. Hose to TCV had fallen off.
- Replaced odometer gear...stopped recording at 212,000 two tears ago. CarFax shows its a single owner vehicle that averaged 14K miles per year. 240K to 250K??
- Replaced rear brakes and rotors and e brake shoes
- Recharged A/C. It's cooling!!
Vehicle is registered and passes NH state inspection.
Drove for about 70 miles, nervous because no records about timing belt replacements.

8/16/2013 - Replaced radiator and both oil cooler lines. Oil lines are a tough repair in the driveway!! Drove another 70 miles.

8/23/2013 - Replaced Timing Belt, tensioner, idler and water pump. My first TB replacement, I thought it would e easier than it was, but all the info on this site helped me prepare for it. Now I get to do my 1995 GLT!

9/14/2013 - Symptom - clunk and squeak over bumps. Removed right strut, disassembled and found spring seat had failed. Replaced with a spring seat I removed from a junk yard strut assembly. Spring seat wasn't in the best condition but hopefully will hold till I get new struts, seats and mounts. It's fixed for now.

9/22/2013 - Drained another 3.5 quarts of ATF and re-filled with new ATF (Toyota Dexron III). Still looks like dirty pond water.

4/19/2014 - 218,000 miles, 4 New Continental, Extreme Contact DWS
Swapped service light, with dead high beam indicator bulb. Replaced two trip computer bulbs.

5/17/2014 - 218,200 miles, replaced front O2 sensor with Bosch, replaced heater core with Swedish Autoparts (ebay) core. LOF with Mobil One 10W40 with Mann filter.
