i have a 94 850 nonturbo. i had to repair the flame trap hose because it was cracked (this is the black plastic tube that feeds into the flame trap). to do this i had to :
-remove the fuel line rack
-all the vacuum connection at the throttle body, etc
-i removed the injectors (just to see what they look like on the working side) and put them back in
after fixing the flame trap tube, i put everything back. now it cranks but does not start. this is what i have done.
-changed spark plugs , no start
-checked the ignition wires for current using a timing gun, there is current, still no start
-removed the plugs and put a teaspoon of gas directly in it, replaced plugs, still no start
-checked the fuel supply regulator (the one on fuel rail) for vacuum leaks..it holds a vacuum,
i'm at the end of my wits....any ideas? please help
tough no start problem

Do you have fuel at the rail (bicycle tire valve)?
Did you bump or knock the mass airflow sensor connection?

ok this has happpen to me 3 times now i start my volvo it runs only for 2 seconds then dies. i crank it and it sounds like i have no compression the first time this happened i check eveything over and found no problems so i just cranked it over for about 1 min. and sounded like it was going to fire but it didnt so i cranked it again for a min and it finaly started. well it ran great for about 5month then the same thing happened so i just cranked on the starter for awhile and then it started. now 6month later i now the same problem. so the question is what could cause this? i have spark, i have fuel,
