850 central locking intermittent working

Post by dec913 »

Still having issues with the locking.
New batteries in the remote, so not that.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not. The fault is both from the remote and from the door lock. If the immobiliser is on you can disable with the remote, so it's working. Just had to break in to the petrol filler to put fuel in! Any ideas where to look now??

You have an emergency handle for opening fuel door in the right side of the trunk. You just need to remove the right side floor panel to access it.

Thanks for that, didn't know about the emergency handle, would be hard for me to get too though as I have a dog box that fills the back of the estate.
Any thoughts on where the problem may be?
