96 850t, s60r exhaust and turbo?

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

Will this bolt on? I want to add an "R" to my car, if you know what I mean. The s60r had the 16t turbo, right?

There's a 2000 C70 over at an auto wrecker near me, what turbo did that car come with? I think I may go investigate it tomorrow.

There is little to no advantage going from a 15T to a 16. You will lose off-the-line power without the VVT setup in the S60 (the 1998 that uses a 16T is dog-slow until 2500-3000 RPM) and gain just a small smidgen of top-end power.

The S60R uses a K24 turbo.

You would be better off spending your money on a tune - the stock 15 in your car isn't running anywhere near its full potential yet.

Thanks Justin. That K24 is a pretty popular tuner turbo now eh? I would eventually want green giant injectors, a 4 bar regulator, bigger pump and a tune. Plus 3" exhaust...but right now that's all pipe dreams.
