We left early Tuesday morning (2:10) and drove right at 6 hours and 398 miles to unload everything on to a boat for the ride out to the Island. Unload and haul to a camping area, and do stuff for four days and reverse it all and drive back. Weather was good/bad/windy/calm. No houses, just 18 miles of dunes and shoreline.
Mostly wild horses, turkeys and a few bugs this time of year. Did see a few deer as it was deer season at the north end of the Island, so the smart ones move down our way.
There is a sub base down there, so seeing the black beast going out to sea is pretty cool.
