They're like $70 from fcp.

I got the negative cable from fcp for $100 and replaced it but I still have an intermittent starting issue, this positive cable is next.

Great write up! I like it!
The cable I used came from IPD and it was about $40. I think it's the same cable that FCP lists. They come from RAMAC. IPD doesn't list the cable as compatible with the 850, but it is if you make a minor modification to one of the terminals.

IPD $36:

FCP $73:

SO I am having some weird issues with my 99 s70 and I am looking at replacing the B cable , the battery cable and cleaning the grounds.
My symptoms are : ABS, TRACTION,BRAKE, up shift arrow all lit up and the right hand turn signal lamp in the dashboard is not working and it runs like crap. I have already changed the ABS mod and the ignition switch....no change...
I did a simple voltage drop test and it was minimal....but this was done at the problem was not occurring at the time. I only tested it at the fuse box not the back fuses. I also did the system charging test and it seems fine 13.24 engine off ; 13.65 running no load; 14.10 engine running and full load...but again...the issue was not occurring when I did these tests and the car was not warm..
Do you think I have a cable problem as well?

Ive always made my own but I have the crimping tool since Im a sailor.
If you use marine rated wire it will corrode less than the cheapest stuff, but costs 2x too

Maybe that was my deal, I was looking at both parts/cables.

I pulled the triangle shaped fuse box and tested the B cable there and it was super clean ( like right from the factory clean) and there was no iota of voltage drop.....
