1998 S70t5 location of all vacuum lines that go to intake

Post by s70fanman »

Gentlemen-
I found my problem-(I hope) there is a vacuum leak on the left side of the engine, I thought it was the PVC hose, little one where it hooks to the intake with the rubber elbow. I checked it and it was fine, yet there was still a vacuum leak, I need to know if there are any other hoses there as I do not remember one, but again I am old and feeble so maybe someone out there can help me. I plan on removing the manifold and replacing the gasket and I hope to find an unplugged hose or something before I attempt this procedure.

Thanx, s70fanman

Only that one hose on the passenger side of the engine. Can you hear a vacuum leak in that area? It may have split off under the intake.

There are quite a few that attach to the intake or vacuum tree near the throttle body.

Gentlemen-
Found and cured the problem, it was a leaky intake manifold gasket, one that I replaced even. Installed new manifold gasket and all is well.
To answer my own question there is only one line as Jackburn said and it is the smaller one to the PVC System, all others are vacuum tree oriented. Thanx for the Help!!
