Fuel Pump Check valve

Fuel Pump Check valve

I am pretty sure my check valve is bad. Has anyone been able to fix this problem without buying a new pump? It sounds a little unreasonable to spend 300 bucks just to fix a little check valve, but i know, its a Volvo. Thanks guys and gals.

does anyone know if this is possible? to replace the check valve without a new furl pump?
