Wow, this might just be the straw...
New fuel pump, new coolant temp sensor, swapped out a couple of fuel relays, jump the relay;
it doesn't matter. I get no fuel at the rail.
Just tossed a couple gallons in for laughs...
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. This car has become a nightmare.

Can you actually hear the fuel pump?

There is just one thing that i can think of...is there a possibillity that you wrongly connected feed & return line at fuel pump housing when you changed the fuel pump?
In what condition is the fuel filter....when it was last changed?
If fuel pump is working and you don't have fuel at fuel rail that should be it,except if you have a fuel leak somewhere from the tank to the rail....but i guess that you would be aware of it.
Fuel pressure regulator might be the other suspect, but usually when it fails the raw fuel gets into intake from the vacuum side of the line.

make sure the rubber hose that connects the fuel pump to the housing it sits in is connected..

Did you replace the entire unit or just the pump?
If there was a hose issue at the top of the assembly, I'd expect fuel to spill, or rather pump out.

Thanks folks,
The filter is new. The new fuel pump is the entire assembly. Those two fuel lines were in one position, I don't think I could reverse them even if I tried. Maybe the pump is a mirror image? It is aftermarket. I did have raw gas in the intake, and the engine was fuel hydrolocked.
Fuel pressure regulator.... I wonder...
What I don't understand is that since replacing the fuel pump, the engine hydrolocked on fuel when I jumped the fuel pump relay two pins, and left it for a bit. During this time I also took a battery directly to the pump, to hear it run. There was pressure at one point, with this new pump. Now nothing, no matter what I do.
What sensors would kill fuel flow? When my coolant temp sensor died the car wouldn't start, but I don't know if that stopped fuel or spark...

The only electronics that will kill fuel flow, are the fuel pump, the fuel pump relay (under the fuse box cover, you know about that one, kills flow to the rail) and the fuel injection relay (up under the shroud, kills flow out of the injectors but pressure gets to the rail). And the ECU, but I can't see how that is a problem.jimmy joe wrote:... What sensors would kill fuel flow? The fuel pressure regulator is mechanical, if it fails then you will have fuel in the vacuum lines, but not interrupted fuel supply.
It sounds to me like right now, either the pump relay or the pump itself, or the connections as is being suggested, must be the problem. I do not understand why the engine filled with fuel, that may be a leaky injector.
