Nexus 7 dash install

I'm planning on getting rid of my ld Pioneer AVIC-N1c and going with a newer double din install. In doing sme research, i'm now also considering doing a custom install for my Nexus7. I've seen many installs and have looked into the parts required, but wondering if anyone has already done this on their Volvo??
