See part B of DIY: Parking Brake Failure Inspection ('98 S70 as ref') for a link on removing the console with photos as you'll want to inspect the parking brake system while you're at it. If you're lucky, the light holder may have just come unstuck. Applying a little rubber cement on the bulb holder base, not the hole in the housing attached to the selector panel it slides into, might help it stay in place.
Be very careful if it's cold as the plastic will be prone to breaking!!! Get the inside of the car toasty first!
