2004 XC70 Access to Under Dashboard

I have a rattle under my dashboard that occurs in the winter. I suspect it is a control cable that is loose and vibrates against the underside of the dashboard (passenger side.) Is there a way to gain access to this area to better secure the cable? I was hoping removal of the glovebox would provide the access but that does not appear to be the case. Any help/advice appreciated.
