Blipshift

I don't know anyone there, have no affiliation, just passing on some info. Blipshift advertises on another forum I'm active on.

They make limited edition/run t-shirts, stickers too, with automotive themes. There have been a few Volvo themes even. Usually, a witty auto related pun or funny reference, you can submit designs too, so they are kind of "crowd sourced" a bit.

They have a "different" marketing strategy, the shirts are limited runs, and usually only for sale for less than a week at a time, so every time a new shirt goes on sale, the old one is retired. Occasionally they'll have limited availability or specials on old designs.

I just bought "High Five," it was on sale back at the end of Nov. I told Santa, but he forgot. I set up to be notified when it was in stock again, thankfully I just got a notification e-mail, and placed my first order with them. Thought I'd pass it along to any of you other Volvo/5 cylinder nerds that might want one.

I'm still waiting on "Bricked" to be back in stock.

"Smoking Permit" is pretty sweet too.

Again, this is my first purchase, but I've read good things. One downside of buying a re-release/limited stock shirt from them instead of the current version is that "Your order will ship approximately 1.5-3 weeks after the current shirt sale ends," something I didn't know until I got my order confirmation email. Fingers crossed.

I've got a few of their shirts myself. Clever designs, and VERY comfy material.

They've had several designs that I kind of liked, but for whatever reason I just had to have this one, I really like "The World is Flat," some day I hope to own a 964, maybe a BRZ, then I could justify that shirt too...

I got an email this morning that my order has shipped, surprised & happy, I was expecting it sometime next month.

I grew up with Corvairs, so had to have the "World is Flat" shirt. Someone asked me if I owned a Subaru while wearing it one day. Nope, no interest at all. Told him about the Corvairs, and we ended up talking for a while.

I got my shirt on Monday of this week. Super quick shipping, quality material, though not what I was expecting, it's the thin cotton similar to what a lot of the "vintage Tees" are made of, real soft, and comfortable. I'd just prefer something similar to a Hanes Beefy Tee or the like.

Got a sticker too.

So.. They only produce one shirt at a time?

Basically, yes.

There's often a few of the last couple of designs left, and you can have them email you if/when any of the previous designs may become available again. For Black Friday last year they ran a sale for several days of a lot of their old designs. When I bought "High Five" it had been retired for several weeks, it was a limited stock re-release I was notified about via email.

If you've got Facebook, you can like/comment on their designs in an attempt to persuade them to re-release a design. Don't know if it ever works though.

Ok thanks. I guess I could just save some of the images and turn them into window stickers.
