2004 xc90 rack&pinion reseal kit.

I put a reman rack in my 04 xc90 2 yrs ago. My wife was driving to work the other day when the upper pinion seal blow out. It lost all fluid in just about 30 sec or so. I started looking for a rebuild kit so I could save about 400 bucks. Little did I know I couldn't find a seal kit for the xc90 anywhere. I searched the web off and on for days and even call a ZF dealer (the builder of the rack) for help. I was about to just order another rack when I ran across a site called BEST PARTS ONLINE. Believe it or not they claimed to have a seal kit so I ordered it. I marked the pinion gear relationship to the main rack housing pulled the pinion housing off and replaced all the rubber and Teflon seals under the housing.( I didn't replace the lower rack seals). After installing the rack it worked great with no leaks. Although I didn't touch the tie rods and it drove perfect I had it an alignment done. So if you need a xc90 seal kit maybe this website above will keep you from running in circles for days like I did.
