1999 S80 T6 Does it mean the head gasket need replacing?

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Riba, if it is just an ordinary scanner that I would suggest do not trust completely on codes. But as far your current error codes I suspect they are right since your heater is already not working.

Moreover since you are active with your maintenance, take some good snap shots of your engine and post here.

by the way from where you are buying the parts?

Cheers!

I don't think the "Heater control unit" refers to the ventilation heater, it probably has something to do with the oxygen sensors. They need to be heated up, don't they?

I'll snap a couple of pictures tomorrow and post them.

I bought the engine mounts locally, and the rest I'll drag over from Europe as I will be going home in a week. My wife will be thrilled. :)
