I wasn't able to read all 7 pages, only saw the first few, so if you've re-done the job with the correct stuff, then wahoo!
Gotcha...makes sense. Horrible shop, never going back.

All the leaks (there) were sorted out, though. It started filling a spark plug hole with oil too. At that point, we took the car back and said, "look, fix this, the right way".

So I cleaned up all top and the bolthole and died it all out after using contact cleaner. I used Permatex again let it sit overnight but it's still leaking. Any suggestions?

0-ring seemed to work but found a pretty bad oil Leah under the timing belt cover coming from above the cams seals- appears to be a lousy job of sealing the cam cover. It's going back to the shop tomorrow they're going to do it right!

Oh jeez. I've been through all that too. Best of luck...

This happened to my old car yesterday...an improperly seated cam seal from the same shop that started all of this.

Got it sealed right now but I had to show the shop how to do it- I actually painted on the sealant with the seal- drive an hour to my house and not a leak! Then today j noticed that silly snorkel hose had lifted off the nipple and had caused yet another leak- I'm thinking it's an URO hose after all- I'm thinking of ways to keep it on without changing it out...hmm. For now I've just torqued it down super tight after cleaning all oil off of the inside of it and the nipple- even thinking of notching the nipple up a bit to give the hose a surface to grab on to.

Clean those hose really well on the inner side and clean the aluminum nipple well using rubbing alcohol. Once it dries, apply some good ole hair spray (kind that makes you go bald) to the hose inner side and slip it in place using a fuel injector hose clamp (NOT WARM-GEAR clamp).

I have that very same brand hose, and I used that injector clamp. It's thinner in width, retains a better constant clamping force and doesnt allow for expansion. I used the hair spray method for IC hoses, and for other vehicles PCV system with great results.

I fix the snorkel tube and that was not an issue any longer but I started leaking tons of oil oil everywhere it's almost impossible to figure out exactly where it's coming from. I suspect it's the Front cam seals – they reused them when they redid the head. In everyone's opinion who makes the best front cam seals? Where do you buy them?
